Does Expensease move money or connect to my bank?
No — and that's deliberate. Expensease keeps a clear, shared record of who paid and who owes. You settle however your group already prefers (UPI, cash, bank transfer), then mark it settled. It never touches your bank or card.
Can I use it just for myself?
Yes. Alongside splitting with friends and groups, there's a personal tracking mode for your own spending, budgets, and insights — switch anytime.
Is it really free? Are there ads?
